My client, a leading Financial Technology firm to the Hedge Fund sector is looking to expand its technical team with the hire of an experienced technical support engineer.
It is essential that you are already established in a Technical Support role and will be able to work independently with a high level of initiative. You will also have had a minimum of 2 years IT Support experience ideally within a datacenter or financial services background.

The successful candidate role will be responsible for:
• Providing professional 1st and 2nd line support to Financial Services clients against
predefined service level agreements
• Supporting the daily IT and operational demands of a Tier3 data centre
• Dealing with support requests; seeing these through to resolution or escalating to other
support teams or to key technology partners
• Application support and general PC hardware support (PC’s, Laptops, Blackberry, etc)

Key skills required for the role:
• Microsoft Windows XP
• Active Directory/Exchange administration
• Windows XP/Vista and

Preferred skills:
Any experience with trade floor support, market data applications (Bloomberg, Reuters), Cisco Call Manager, Cisco networking and any data centre technologies such as blade servers, UPS, AHUs would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
